I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

Psalms 65:3 Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.

My Thoughts
Forgave them ALL... love the word all here!!... People tend to pick sins that are are easy to forgive.  Then judge the rest... God forgives all our sins...Sometimes we can be so bad that we feel like nobody will ever forgive us...and we let that sin seperate us from God...after all the people around us can't seem to forgive us...how could God forgive us??......there is not a sin that we can commit that we can't go to God and ask forgiveness for. So we should never, ever let a sin that humans can't seem to forgive seperate us from God.  Once we go to God and ask forgivness... truly want that forgiveness, God forgives us and we get to be right with Him again.  We get a chance to have God near us guiding us and helping us do better... helping us make right choices.  It is impossible to do better without God...but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19 26) even forgiveness.  Next time we are overwhelmed by something we have done we don't need run and hide...we need to  remember this verse and go straight to God and make it right... so our life can be right again.. so our heart can be right again... so we won't miss another minute of our lives because we messed up. When we ask for forgivness and make things right with God we get to move foward... do better... live better...when we put that off.. when we don't ask for forgiveness we are stuck right were that sin is... and it takes over our thoughts... it impeads our actions.... it gets in our way. Even when we mess up bad we need to not mess up more by putting off forgiveness... God forgives us all our sins.
