I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

11.30.10

Psalms 119:176 I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands.

My Thoughts
This is a wonderful verse to keep in your heart... most of us have times when we wander away from God...but we can always ask to come back... and God has put his commands in our heart so that we won't forget so that we know to that we need to be back in alignment with God and his word.... God gives us many chances... many times we wander so far away that we are scared that God will reject us so we keep running.... never get so afraid that you don't ask to come back to God... all he is waiting for is for you to ask... for you to want to do what he ask ... for you to want his love... I am so thankful that I was able to come back to God... I hope that I never wander away again... but if I do I hope that this is a verse that tugs at my heart and that I come running back!

PS
I am going to be having Gallbladder surgery...maybe today...so please keep me in your prayers...and if I miss a day  posting my Bible verse and my thougths know that I will be back!!.. God is so good!!
