James 1:2-4 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
My Thoughts
When we turn to God during our troubles he gives us strength...and this strength not only gets us through it strengthens our faith!...there are so many things on this earth that we have to endure... but God is there right beside us to help us when we reach out our hand to him and let him lead the way!.. We are taught to be independent and strong.... but so many of us are not taught to be dependent on God so that he can make us strong.... when troubles come your way always remember that God is the one who makes the lemonade when life gives us lemons.... that awful piece of sand that irritates the oyster does not turn into a beautiful pearl by accident... I bet the oyster depends on God... oh what our life could be if we learn to depend on God totally and completely!
