I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.



This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

9.13.12

1 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
 
My Thoughts
One of the definition of fellowship is friendly relationship, companionship. I think of having fellowship with someone as having a conversations with somebody you like and trust.  Here Paul says, May the fellowship of the the Holy Spirit be with you.  We are suppose to take to, listen to the Holy Spirit, seek his counsel. The Holy Spirit is always with us...we we can be in constant fellowship with Him about everything! Every decision we make...every word we speak... every thought we have... we have the Holy Spirit with us all the time, we are never alone and we never have to make a decision all by ourselves.  We need to keep the Holy Spirit central in all that we do...not push Him back in to the corner...we are to be in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit.  When we do this we will begin to see dramatic changes in all areas of our lives.
