I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

Ezra 8:22b-23 "Our God's hand of protection is on all who worship him, but his fierce anger rages against those who abandon him." So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.

My Thoughts
God will take care of us...if are hearts are with him... he is eager to take care of us!... God wants what is best for us... but when we don't make him a part of our lives ... we are left to do things on our own... when we abandon God we don't have his protection from the bad things of the world... but even if we abandon God he will come back into our lives to help us when we call out to him... when we begin to worship him again... he will lead us down the right paths... he will protect us from our enemies...and will support us as we suffer the consequences of the times when we abandon him... God is good... God will only make right choices for us... our right choice is to always be in worship of God... to always ask his guidance in our day... to always praise him... and honor him with our heart and our actions... God will hear our prayers when we earnestly pray. God loves to protect us... we just have to live close enough to him so that he can,
