I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.



This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

8.8.10

Psalm 30:3-5a Sing to the Lord, all your godly ones! Praise his holy name.  For his anger last only a moment, but his favor last a lifetime. 

My Thoughts
I believe that God only gets angry with us when we do wrong because he doesn't like to see us hurt... he gets angry at us when we hurt ourselves just as he would get angry at somebody else for hurting us... but God always, always loves us... he always wants to make things better... he always wants to give us stuff... look at all we have!!... all we have are gifts from God.... wonderful presents that God gives to us when we are mature enough in our walk with him to handle the gifts in a way that we won't hurt ourselves or others with what he gives us.... God always loves us!!.. Always!!... if you even wonder if he doesn't think of some of the people and things that you treasure in your life... those are gifts from God... those things you treasure should make us know without a doubt how much God loves us.
