I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

Proverbs 24:3-4 A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense.  Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables.

My Thoughts
God values wisdom... he is constantly telling us to grow in knowledge.... knowledge is wisdom.... Solomon could ask God for anything, anything at all... and Solomon ask for wisdom... God was so pleased with this that he rewarded Solomon with all the other gifts.... We are to seek wisdom through prayer, and reading the Bible, by learning from people older and wiser than us... we are to seek wisdom from people who have studied things.... people who do better than us in areas we are weak in... God wants us to be in a constant state of learning...and sharing what we know...so the next time somebody tries to teach you something stop and listen, learn from what they are saying.... we need to gain knowledge from as many places as we can... and in return God will reward us for doing what he ask us to do.

This is one of my favorite passages and I wrote these notes in my Bible, I think from BSF.
Wisdom is the ability to see with discernment to view life as God preceives it. Understanding is the skill to respond with insight. Knowledge is the trait of learning with perception, discovering and growing. Riches and treasures are our character traits - immeasurable memories are lasting deep relationships.
I thought I would share this with you as you always bless us by sharing with us. I hope my notes blessed you today.
