I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

6.13.10

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said, "Go for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.

My Thoughts
This is Saul that was about to become Paul who preached and taught to so many people! He listened when God spoke and he made a difference in the world!  We are taught in Mark 16:15 to Go into the whole world and preach the gospel, this is as much our job as it was Paul's job.  We are the only Bible some people see. We should live in a way that people see God in us!  We should each find our own way to tell people how much God care for them!... It is our job to teach people how much God loved them. To do this we must be the love that God sends!  Find your way to teach others about God!

AMEN! There is nothing more important than to save a life. To really be saved, you must have Jesus. Nothing more important than spreading His word. I never went to church as a child, at least not after I started school. Not to say anything bad about my parents, but I was not taught nor told about Jesus by my family. I always think where would I be if someone didn't share Jesus with me?
