I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

Proverbs 14:33 Wisdom is enshrined in an understanding heart; wisdom is not found among fools.

My Thoughts
Enshrined is defined like this: to cherish as sacred.  Another definition was this, "Preserve (a right, tradition, or idea) in a form that ensures it will be protected and respected."  Wisdom comes straight from God.  We need to cherish wisdom, to treat is as sacred, we need to respect wisdom.

There are several ways to do this.  One is to read our Bibles and keep reading our Bibles so that the wisdom we get will stay enshrined in our hearts.  We need to listen to people that do know more than us... God gives up people with more experience in their lives than we have for a reason.  We need to treat wisdom with respect because it is a gift from God.  The Bible even tells us to search for it like we would silver or gold (Proverbs 2:4). Silver or gold can be taken from us, but wisdom never can!
