Matthew 24:37-39 37 "When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day. 38 In those days before the Flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn't realize what was going to happen until the Flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.
My Thoughts
We often think, when we hear the story of Noah, "Why didn't those silly people listen?" We can be silly people being so caught up in our day, our life that we forget to notice how we are acting... If we would learn to ask ourselves through out the day "If Jesus came back right now and was standing right beside me, am I acting in a way that would make Him happy with me?" if the answer is no... we need to change what we are doing...not tomorrow...not next week... not next year. If the answer is no we need to change our action right at that moment, right then and there. We need to act in all ways like Jesus is standing right beside us. Or like the people in Noah's day we will miss the boat.
