I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.

This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

2.17.11

Mark 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

My Thoughts
First this says to me that Jesus didn't judge and neither should we.  My favorite quote is "Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes." The Indian version is not to judge a man until you have "walked two moons in his mohicans."  Jesus doesn't judge us and He walk on earth to understand what we go through ... Jesus left this world still a saint and  doesn't judge us... he just came to heal our broken hearts.... to save us from our sins... and he left this earth to prepare a place for us even after walking on this earth and dieing in our place. Second it tells me that I can never get so  far away that God doesn't want to find me.  I am not in trouble when I have done wrong and come to repent of that wrong... I am in trouble when I do wrong and think nothing of it.  I feel very blessed that Jesus came for the sinners.
