I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.



This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

Exodus 31:6b Moreover, I have given special skills to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make. 

 My Thoughts
I love art and crafts... I love making things and learning how to make new things. I have never been especially skilled in any of the things I learn to do. In fact it never takes to logo for me to find someone amazingly better than me at that point where I have reached my limit in ability.  But the more I read God's word the more I realize He gives me just what He needs me to have. My job is to take what He gives me and use it for Him. God Amy choose to make me a Master Craftsman in something one day.  Maybe He already has and I just have to learn to see what God sees as being a Master Craftsman. Love is most important to God...loving Him and loving others.... When I use my abilities to love others maybe in God's eyes I am a Master Craftsman. I like that thought!
