Psalm 86:15 But you O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
My Thoughts
Oh how exciting!!... God has compassion for us which means that he as sympathy for us when we are in distressing circumstances... He know how we feel and he is there for us... we just have to tell him we need his help!!.... mercy is a blessing that is an act of divine favor... he wants to do wonderful things for us!!... just like parents want to do things for their children, we are God's Children and he wants to shower us with favor... he wants to take care of us when we are distressed!!... he never wants to be angry with us...he is like my grandaddy, DaDa was with his kids... one time my mother asked her mother "Why does daddy get mad at us when we hurt ourselves?" my grandmother said, "Pattie the same reason he would get mad if somebody else hurt you, he loves you and wants you safe."... That is how God is, he gets angry when we don't live right because he loves us and wants us safe.... he watches down on us and know when we are trying... but when we are being stupid he gets angry because he know we are making ourselves unsafe and it worries him for us!... God is filled with unfailing love for us...unfailing means constant, everlasting, inexhaustible... we just can't ware God out...he is going to love us no matter!!... he loves us constantly, God loves us for ever and ever and ever!!... and he is faithful with that love!!... so if we ever feel like God is angry with us we should stop and step back and take a look at what we are doing, we are doing something something that is not good for us... we need to remember that God loves us no matter, he has sympathy for us, he want to give us favor...he wants to forgive us that is why he sent Jesus... As we go through our day we should be mindful of how much God loves us... and that much love will surely make us smile.

How lucky we are to have such a merciful creator! I have felt at times that God is angry with me but never thought of it this way. Thank you Jeannie for putting it in perspective for me!
