I decided to start this blog (2010) because my son, John-Robert gave me a One Year Bible for Christmas, the New Living Translation... reading it has changed my life... I post a daily Bible verse on my Facebook page every day and it has been well received... I thought that this would be a wonderful way to share part of what I read each day!... I hope that you enjoy it.



This Year 2012 I am going to do things a little different... not much...just a little. I am again reading through my One Year Bible (for the 3rd time). But I am also using "The Secret Power of Speaking God's Word" by Joyce Meyer. This book is divided by putting scriptures under different categories so they can be used to speak over our life situations. Each day I will read a category of scripture and pick a scripture in that category to write about.

2.23.10

Psalm 40:3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see what he has done and be amazed.  They will put their trust in the Lord.

My Thoughts

We can be a witness simply by living our lives with God's song in our hearts... God can fill us with joy and when we are filled with joy it shows in our step, and in our smile...it show in the kind words we speak to others...it shows in the way we do our jobs.... in all of our actions... when people see that joy in our hearts that God gives us .... they will want to be filled with that joy too.... they will ask what makes us so happy and we can say Jesus... this to me is a much more effective way to be a witness.... to live our lives in such a way that people can witness what God can do by watching us.... be a witness of God's wonderful love today with Joy, and with Kindness!
